What happens if the Gang Boss becomes inactive?
If the current Gang Boss remains inactive for 29 consecutive days, the takeover process becomes available on the 30th inactive day. The next eligible active gang member will receive a prompt informing them that the current Boss is inactive and asking whether they want to take over the gang as the new Boss.
What happens when a member accepts the takeover?
If an eligible member accepts the takeover, they become the new Gang Boss. The former Boss remains in the gang and enters a 180-day Protection Period.
What is the former Boss Protection Period?
After a successful takeover, the former Boss cannot be removed from the gang for the next 180 days. This protection applies only to the former Boss who was replaced through the inactive Boss takeover flow.
What happens after the Protection Period ends?
The Protection Period ends on the 181st day. After this point, the former Boss is treated like a regular gang member and can be kicked out according to the normal gang rules.
