Downtown Mafia is built around community, from chatting with players across the globe to forming alliances that dominate the underworld.
Chat System
The in-game chat lets you communicate with other players in real time. You can access it through the Chat icon on the home screen.
There are three main chat types:
World Chat: Open to everyone — meet new players, share mob codes, and discuss strategies.
Gang Chat: Private to your gang — plan wars, share updates, and coordinate attacks.
Cartel Chat: Available for gangs within the same cartel — ideal for teamwork during tournaments.
Messages in chat follow community guidelines — spamming, hate speech, or harassment can lead to account suspension.
Friends and Mob Codes
Adding friends strengthens your mob. You can share or exchange Mob Codes in chat or on community channels.
Friends can send daily gifts and join you in gang or cartel battles. Staying connected helps you grow faster and stay informed about upcoming events.
