Money is power in Downtown Mafia, and managing it smartly is the key to building your empire. Understanding how businesses, the bank, and upkeep work helps you stay profitable and safe from losses.

Businesses

Businesses provide your hourly income, generating steady cash even when you’re offline. You can buy as many as you can afford, but their cost increases with each purchase.

Different categories of businesses include Real Estate, Joints, and Industries, each unlocking as you level up. The higher the level requirement, the greater the profit.

Example incomes:

  • Garage: $60 per hour

  • Night Club: $10,000 per hour

  • Oil Rig: $350,000 per hour

Some special items, such as Money Plates from missions, boost income by a set percentage.

Bank

The Bank keeps your earnings safe from other players. You can deposit your cash for a 10% fee, which converts it into clean money. Deposited cash earns 5% daily interest, helping your wealth grow over time.

Your maximum bank limit increases with your level or by completing special assignments that unlock upgrades like:

  • The Consigliere: +25% limit

  • Access Key: +400% limit

  • Bank Key: +1000% limit

Upkeep

Some armory items have an upkeep cost, which is automatically deducted from your income every hour. If upkeep is higher than income, your cash flow turns negative, and the shortfall is taken from your cash on hand. Special rewards like Tax Bonds can reduce upkeep and increase your profit margin.

Balancing your income, expenses, and investments keeps your mafia operation running strong. Always invest, protect, and collect wisely.
