Your Armory and Mercenaries define your strength in Downtown Mafia. The right combination of weapons, vehicles, and trained mercs can decide every battle.
Armory
The Armory contains all your combat equipment. Items are divided into four main types:
Weapons
Armors
Vehicles
Specials
Each mob member automatically uses one of each item during a fight. The game always equips the best available items from your inventory for both attack and defense. Some items are one-time-use, meaning they are consumed during a fight or mission.
More powerful equipment becomes available as you level up. Some rare “loot” items can only be earned through special missions or boss fights. You can also bulk buy items by pressing on the item image in the Armory to purchase up to 500 at once.
Mercenaries
Mercenaries, or “Mercs,” are elite fighters that boost your combat power. Each Merc carries one weapon, one armor, one vehicle, and one special item into battle. They add both attack and defense bonuses to your stats, multiplying your gang’s strength.
The number of Mercs you can bring into a fight equals your level × 5. Mercs can be purchased through Big Jim’s Shop using Diamonds or earned as rewards through tournaments and boss fights.
Keeping your Armory well-stocked and your Mercenaries upgraded is key to surviving and dominating in the underworld.
