Thug Workshop
The Thug Workshop is where you upgrade the strength and survivability of your trained thugs. While training, a thug prepares them for battle, upgrading them enhances their overall performance — increasing their Attack Power, Defense, Health Points (HP), and sometimes even their Range.
Each thug type (e.g., Brass Knuckle, Baseball, Pitbull) has its upgrade path. You must unlock the thug by training it first, and only then can it be upgraded in the workshop.
Upgrading thugs requires cash and products, and each level takes time to complete. Higher upgrades cost more but result in significantly improved stats — essential when defending against high-level enemy attacks or fighting in turf wars.
Merc Workshop
The Merc Workshop serves a similar function but for your offensive mercenaries. Here, you can upgrade units like Goons, Bazookas, Raiders, Medics, and more — making them stronger, faster, and more durable in combat.
Each merc upgrade boosts their effectiveness in PvP attacks, boss fights, and events. Upgrades improve a merc’s ability to destroy defenses, withstand damage, or support other units more efficiently (e.g., medics heal more; raiders steal faster).
The Merc Workshop is critical if you regularly engage in PvP or Hitlist fights, as higher-tier opponents require upgraded squads to defeat.
Boss Workshop
The Boss Workshop allows you to upgrade your unlocked boss characters. Bosses are some of the most powerful units in the game, so improving them can dramatically impact your success in both offense and defense.
Each boss has a unique skill set and stat profile. Upgrades enhance these abilities by improving Attack Power, Hit Points, and Special Damage Types (e.g., splash damage, building-specific damage, etc.).
Boss upgrades are more expensive than regular units and require significantly more products and cash. They also take longer to complete, but the payoff is worth it — a well-upgraded boss can carry your entire attack or defense lineup.
