In Downtown Gangstaz, Thugs are fellow players who can be recruited to your hood, trained, and assigned to guard key buildings and defend your turf. Here’s a breakdown of how to recruit, train, and assign your Thugs, as well as an explanation of key terms like Mob Code and Assign Space.
Recruiting Mobs
Recruiting mobs is the first step to building a powerful defense for your hood. Thugs are fellow players, and you can recruit them through the Recruit Tab on the Main Page.
Mob Code: Every player has a unique 9-digit Mob Code, which can be shared in the Shoutbox or on private walls to invite players to join your hood. To recruit a mob, post your mob Code in the Shoutbox or ask other players for their Mob Codes. Once you have their code, send an invite to recruit them.
Thugs Tab: After recruiting, all your Mobs will be listed in the Thugs Tab, where you can manage them.
Training Thugs
Once you’ve recruited your mobs, the next step is to train them to make them effective guards.
Head to the Ammo Shop to start training your mobs. You can train all the mobsyou've recruited, provided you meet the necessary requirements.
Assign Space
Each Thug has a specific Assign Space, which determines how much room they take up in buildings and camps. For example, a Thug with an "Assign Space" of 1 can be assigned to a building with at least 1 assign space capacity.
As you train more Thugs, the training costs will increase, so make sure to manage your resources carefully.
Assigning Thugs
Once your Thugs are trained, you can assign them to various buildings in your hood for protection.
Assign Space: Each building has an Assign Space capacity, which indicates how many Thugs it can accommodate. For example, a Taco Shop has an Assign Space of 1, meaning only a Thug with an Assign Space of 1 can be assigned to guard it.
Assignable Buildings
The Mansion, Business Buildings, and Product Lab are all buildings where you can assign trained Thugs. The number of Thugs you can assign depends on the building’s available Assign Space.
Guarding: Once assigned, your Thugs will guard the perimeter of the building and attack any mercenaries or rival Thugs trying to breach the area. In the future, defense units will also need Thugs assigned to them to function effectively.
Summary of Key Terms
mob Code: A unique 9-digit code used to recruit mobs from other players.
Assign Space: The amount of space required by each mob to be assigned to a building. Buildings also have their own Assign Space capacity, which must be respected when assigning mobs.
Assigning: The process of assigning trained Thugs to guard buildings, camps, or defense units. The number of Thugs assigned cannot exceed the building’s Assign Space capacity.
With these Thugs, you can build a strong defense for your turf, protect your businesses, and ensure that your empire remains safe from enemy attacks. Remember to manage your Thugs wisely, train them effectively, and assign them strategically to guard your most valuable assets.
Every trained Thug requires Assign Space to be placed in a building. Each building also has its own specific Assign Space capacity. For instance, the Taco Shop has an Assign Space of 1, meaning you can only assign one Thug to guard it.
Mansions, business buildings, and product labs can house Thugs for defense. However, the number of Thugs assigned to a building cannot exceed its Assign Space capacity. For example, if a building has an Assign Space of 3, you can assign up to 3 Thugs to guard it.
Once assigned, Thugs will actively protect the building by attacking any Mercs or rival Thugs attempting to infiltrate its perimeter. Keep in mind that the strategic assignment of thug is crucial for safeguarding your turf and maintaining a strong defense against enemy attacks.
